Ordkløver, fronted by alphabet wonderboy Boris Stjernebye Schiøler, use phonetic poetry and rectangular rhythms to turn everything upside down on their debut album, Byen Buldrer. Electric guitar, rock drums, and an occasional choir ensemble of eight serves as backing for the Danish lyrics, lyrics that deal with such diverse subjects as gum, urine and the question of man vs. animal. An essential document from this hair-splitting outsider.
